Measure and record Conductivity, ORP, pH, Temperature, and TDS values in the lab or field using the SAM-1 meter for iPhone, IPad, iPod, and Android. The supplied app can provide a real time display of pH, millivolts, ambient temperature, ORP, Conductivity, TDS and solution temperature depending upon the probes being used. Simply plug in the SAM-1 to your iPhone, iPod, or Android and follow instructions to download your FREE app from Apple^TM App Store or Google Play. NOTE: ANDROID APP IS EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE IN THE FALL OR 2014.

Applications:
â–º Environmental testing and monitoring
When used with a GPS enabled device, the Smart Aqua Meter application will record where and when your measurements were taken. Results can be grouped by location or date, and emailed to a central records office. Using the Smart Aqua Meter app eliminates the chances of transcription errors, and improves efficiency.

Ideal for the classroom – the Smart Aqua Meter Meter application makes it fun to measure and record testing values. It is an excellent tool for teaching the chemistry of acids/bases, and introductory electrochemistry. Students can install the app on their own iPod or iPhone, and share a single sensor for experiments.

Suitable for any process where conductivity, ORP, pH, TDS, or Temperature measurements are routinely performed. By recording the testing values with a time stamp and location, this app eliminates any chance of mistakes when recording readings. Works with location aware devices to log the coordinates where readings were taken for analysis and auditing purposes.

You can purchse the SAM-1 alone and select a probe or a bundled SAM-1 (which is cheaper). Then you buy additional plug and play probes to increase your testing options.

• The SAM1-1500C/SAM Polycarbonate pH Electrode
• The SAM1-2000C/SAM Epoxy Smart pH Electrode (Comb ORP Electrode, 30 Inch Cable, BNC) is the recommended ORP sensor.
• The SAM1-1750C/SAM Epoxy pH Electrode w/Spear Tip, 30 Inch Cable, BNC) for inserting the pH sensor into any type of material such as cheese, meat, soil, etc.
• The SAM1-2900C/SAM Epoxy pH & Temperature Electrode
• The SAM1-5500C/SAM Epoxy ORP Electrode
• The SAM1-1500-K=1/SAM Epoxy Conductivity, TDS, and Temperature probe
