The Chloride Titration Reagent Pack1 is intended as a set of reagents to be used with a titration burette method of determining chloride in a water sample. This reagent pack consists of the following Taylor Technologies reagents:
- 2 - R-0629-35-F, Silver Nitrate N/35.5, 32 oz
- 2 - R-0630-C, Chromate Indicator, 2 oz, Dropper Bottle
- 2 - R-0638O-C, Phenolphthalein Indicator, 2 oz w/ orange cap, Dropper Bottle
- 2 – R-0686O-C, Sulfuric Acid N, 2 oz w/ orange cap, Dropper Bottle
As you vary the sample size you must also change the test multipication factor:
- For a 10 ml sample, multiply by 100
- For a 20 ml sample, multiply by 50
- For a 25 ml sample, multiply by 40
- For a 50 ml sample, multiply by 20
- For a 100 ml sample, multiply by 10
Note: that the test result is expreseed as chloride and not as sodium chloride.
