The Alkalinity Reagent Pack1 is intended as a set of reagents to be used with a titration burette method of determining alkalinity in a water sample. This reagent pack consists of the following Taylor Technologies reagents:
- 2 - R-0627S-10-F, Sulfuric Acid N/10, 32 oz
- 2 - R-0638W-C, Phenolphthalein Indicator, 2 oz w/ white cap, Dropper Bottle
- 2 - R-0645-C, Total Alkalinity Indicator, 2 oz, Dropper Bottle
As you vary the sample size you must also change the test multipication factor:
- For a 10 ml sample, multiply by 500
- For a 20 ml sample, multiply by 250
- For a 25 ml sample, multiply by 200
- For a 50 ml sample, multiply by 100
- For a 100 ml sample, multiply by 50
Note: that the test result is expreseed as calcium carbonate.
