This portable tester (also known as a test heat exchanger) monitors the deposition and corrosion characteristics of cooling water systems. Deposit sampling is performed by increasing the rate of deposition in a specimen tube with a cartridge heater. Corrosion is monitored with a corrosion coupon.
The digital read out option allows the reading of the heater voltage and the skin temperature of the corrosion tube.

Metals available are: Admiralty Brass, Aluminum, Copper, Galvanized Steel, Lead, Mild Steel, Stainless Steel(304), Stainless Steel(316), and Zinc. Other metals and specific alloys are available upon request. We provide these coupons from a different source than Advantage Controls. Our corrosion coupons are preweighed and include the final laboratory analysis. With the Advantage Controls corrosion coupons you have to determine the initial weight, final weighs, and calculate the corrosion rate.
