Duro-Tabs (formerly Blue-Traq) is a white briquette form of cooling water treatment that can be easily applied to small cooling towers using a floating feeder which is placed in the tower sump. To use all you need to do is load the feeder with the 3 inch diameter tablet and place the feeder in th tower sump. Adjust the dosage to maintain 8 to 14 ppm of phosphonate as HEDPA. This product is designed for use in small systems where conventional dosing equipment is not available. It contains an effective multifunctional anti-scaling and yellow metal corrosion inhibitor. These are also marketed as Duro-Slow Tablets or DuroSlow Tablets.
