Thw PRV-125 is a Pressure Relief Valve for all of the Vector biocide/bromine feeders.
This valve has a Viton Diaphragm Seal Stainless Steal Springs & Screws 1/2" NPT Inlet and Outlet.
Valve is preset to relief presure at a set and locked value of 125PS1.
The PRV series valves are NOT "pop safety" valves. Avoid use in such applications . The relief valves are designed to open when set pressure is reached and close when pressure decreases.
For Your Safety
Proper care must be taken when threading a plastic valve into a piping system or failure of the valve body may result:
- Use teflon tape or equivalent.
- Hand tight plus a quater turn is the maximum allowable tightness. Do NOT use pipe wrenches!
- Do Not attach female threaded plastic valves directly to metal pipes or fittings.
- Always install with mounting supports.
