Nitrite is most often used in closed systems as a corrosion inhibitor. We offer both the permanganate method and the CAN test method. Most of our customers have upgraded to the simple CAN method which can be used in systems with glycol, and it is easier to run.

For the most accurate test results, it is advisable to replace ALL of your reagents annually. Some reagents can go bad and others can become contaminated with impurities or other reagents during use.
