Primarily, Missed Perceptions will devote itself to advancing the technical knowledge of the treatment of water for Industrial/Commercial, Pool/Spa, and Residential Water Softening applications. With this goal in mind we will invite questions from the general public, and invite answers from professionals who have spent many years in these fields.

Secondarily, we will focus on providing a favorable business climate for owners of small Water Treatment Companies who provide products and services for the Industrial/Commercial, Pool/Spa, and Residential Water Softening markets. No doubt, this will touch on the creation of laws and regulations which effect our businesses, employees, and customers. Inevitably, this means politics. We have Senators and Representatives in Washington who make laws about Energy, Water, and Business with no personal experience to back up their votes. We need to use our knowledge and experience to help them to make wiser decisions. This will help us to create more jobs to drive America forward. Our goal will be to find 435 knowledgable current or retired small business owners who will be able to talk with congressmen in their home districts about the effect that energy and water policy has on small business and on job creation. All work will be done on a volunteer basis.

Membership fees:

• Individual Memership is $10.00 per year for 2013 and beyond.
• Corporate Membership is $100.00 per year for 2013 and beyond.
• Membership fees are waived for customers and vendors of TheWaterTreatmentStore.com or Richard Hourigan, Inc.

Corporate membership applies to all employees of a corporation whose email address is some variation of: MyName@CompanyName.com. Corporate membership is not available to Yahoo, AOL, Comcast or other such companies where it is impossible to distinquish between their employees and their customers.
