Automated monitoring and control are the keys to maintaining cooling system efficiency. By accurately transmitting information to the valves that control the amount of blow down (water drained from the cooling tower reservoir) and subsequent makeup water, a conductivity controller can dramatically reduce operating expenses.

Installing a state-of-the-art integrated pH Conductivity Controller will allow you to upgrade your cooling tower water treatment by adding chemicals that control the pH in the system. This may help prevent scaling in your cooling tower, even as you increase its water efficiency. In order to qualify for rebates, a pH controller must also measure conductivity. Upon installation of an approved device, you will save significant water in the operation of your cooling towers, improve operational efficiency and reduce sewage and chemical costs. CONDUCTIVITY CONTROLLERS:
MODEL A MINUS
The Advantage Controls Model A Minus is a single range (0-6000uS) conductivity controller for cooling towers The conductivity set point is adjusted using the large linear dial on the face of the controller. A TE-2 non-temperature electrode is included with the Model A Minus.
Each time the conductivity of the system water exceeds the operator selected set point the unit will energize the control relay. Once the conductivity falls below the set point (plus the differential), the relay will be turned off. This controller will only control conductivity and add one inhibitor.
An LED indicator is supplied for system POWER as well as an LED marked CONTROL which indicates when the control relay is energized.
A front panel spring loaded toggle switch marked TEST is provided. This allows the user to determine (1) if the unit is working properly, and (2) if the controlled devices are functioning properly.

MODEL 2EZ
The 2EZ controller is capable of controlling any single probe input.
The 2EZ analog controllers and timers for recirculating water systems such as cooling towers and boilers provide simple single probe units with many options. Analog units are available in four basic series: cooling tower, boiler, timer and pH or ORP. This controller will only control conductivity and add one inhibitor.

THE MICROTRON
The MicroTron series provides the ability to feed multiple chemicals independently from each other. The LCFB-2 (featured here can control cooling tower conductivity, control the feed of an inhibitor, and control the feed of two separate biocides from two independent 28 day timing circuits. The MegaTron SS makes continuous monitoring and control of industrial water systems such as cooling towers, boilers and waster water easy with a user friendly ATM style menu and a large 16 line full graphic display that allows complete programming from the keypad. Using a simple system approach an individual MegaTron SS can be specifically configured with the functions your application requires. The SSCPF-3 featured here will control Conductivity, pH, has one programmable (Pulse, Limit, % post bleed, and percent) Chemical Feed Timer to add the inhibitor, and has two programmable 28-day Biocide feed timers. The model numbers listed below should be free after the Southern California Rebate. Check with your Water Utility Company on the current status of their rebate program.

THE MEGATRON
MegaTron makes continuous monitoring and control of industrial water systems such as cooling towers, boilers and waster water easy with a user friendly ATM style menu and a large 16 line full graphic display that allows complete programming from the keypad. Using a simple system approach an individual MegaTron can control 1 to 4 systems. Each of these systems can be specifically configured with the functions your application requires. This controller has up to 20 programmable relays. The MGCPF3-K featured here will control Conductivity, pH, has three programmable (28-Day, Pulse, %, Limit, or post bleed) Chemical Feed Timers to add the inhibitor, two Biocides feed timers, and one additional control relay (upgradeable to a total of 20 relays).
